Monkeys, Caves, Shopping and Sightseeing…in a day.
What more could you want?
Spend a day with us in Gibraltar where you can gaze at the Atlas Mountains of Africa from Europa Point, admire the millennia old stalagmites in St. Michael´s Cave, and hang out with the monkeys at the Apes Den on the Rock of Gibraltar. At less than 7km in length, Gibraltar will prove that small really is beautiful as we navigate through the fascinating attractions that this British territory has to offer. Since its capture by Britain in 1704 during the War of the Spanish Succession, Gibraltar has retained a vastly different culture to the rest of Spain, while profiting from the sunny Andalucian climate and spectacular views of Africa and Spain. Let DiscoverSevilla show you how it´s done!

What local attractions will we be visiting on the tour?
Europa Point: One of the most picturesque spots in all of Gibraltar! From here you can see the most southern point of Spain and the most northern part of Africa, which lie just 14km apart. The narrow straight not only divides continents, but provides the home to where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean.

St. Michaels Cave: Once assumed to be the entrance of the underground passageway that connected Europe and Africa, this fascinating cave is filled with beautiful stalagmites and stalactites. It lies below the famous rock of Gibraltar and developed over thousands of years from dripping water through the limestone rock.

The Apes Den: Hundreds of frisky Barbary Apes inhabit the rock of Gibraltar; who were thought to have migrated from Northern Africa through the underground passageway thousands of years ago! Aside from Gibraltar, these adorable monkeys can only be found in Morocco and Algeria. Our day trip will stop at the Apes Den to allow us to spend time with these primitive creatures and observe how they interact and play!

"I had such an amazing time! The views were breath-taking and seeing the monkeys that close up was an experience I’ll never forget! DiscoverSevilla did a great job planning and executing the trip. Great staff!"
